government" (or "my Sovereign") for "any amount of my life's blood, up to
and including my life entire".

On this day, we remember and honor those whose checks (cheques) have been
stamped "paid in full".

We also thank and honor those who have had those checks (cheques) returned,
either partially paid, or, in some fortunate cases, unpaid, and share with
them our prayers that someday nobody will ever again have to issue such a
check (cheque).
