You may or may not have noticed the session writeups I've been doing for
my Interstellar Wars-era Mongoose Traveller 2e game.

It's a younger crowd than what seems usual on the TML - only two
predating CT (Herr Sweep, Wombat), one other Gen X (Easy Frag), one Cold
Y (me), two other Gen Y (Eddles, dingus) and one Gen Z (Hex).

The canon timeline is on the verge of going boink - the Third Imperium
may already have been butterflied away.

IW-era Jump maths for both Terrans and Vilani prohibit deliberate jumps
into deep space (which has been an entertaining constraint post-Goofy
Holler, otherwise the Butcher's Paradise could exploit its 2xJ-2 range
far more flexibly).  Said Goofy Holler is an existence proof that jumps
into deep space are possible, but currently with the mandatory prefix
"mis-".
