Just a grammar nitpick, but one that I think is important: In the bit about
"no multiworld polities", you talk about the "succession"* of the SAR (to
eventually become the Solomani Confederation). That's probably not the word
you want; they didn't "succeed"* from the Imperium (though arguably, since
they still exist, they did succeed as a coherent government); they did,
however, "secede"* from the Imperium, and made it stick through the
Solomani Rim War(s). So, the word you're looking for would be "secession"*.
