It seems that the Schmitz Estate's inheritor has been located, and
negotiations appear to have resulted in non-exclusive rights for an author
to write new material in the Federation of the Hub setting. This is the
universe of Telzey Amberdon, Trigger Argee, Nile Etland, and other
favorites. I'm told that 65,000 words have already been written; it remains
to be seen what will eventually be released and over whose imprint (the
authorized author is known to have written over the Baen imprint).
