Quick question re: ship/smallcraft design... Jeff Zeitlin 01 Sep 2025 23:26 UTC

Normally, when you're designing a ship or smallcraft, the assumption is
that the hull is unstreamlined, and to include streamlining has two
effects:

   1. It increases the cost
   2. It reduces the volume

(both by a relatively small factor).

For my purposes, cost/cost differential is irrelevant. What I'm more
interested in is the reduction in volume. Can anyone give me a solid figure
on this, or should I fiat it as 'negligible'?
