Tim,
Tripwire, a MGT book, is set in Jewell Subsector. In that subsector
several worlds are Zhodani-controlled, several (Jewell Cluster) are
Imperium-controlled, and several others are independents. The
descriptions of the Zhos in Farreach, Ao-dai, Clan, and others, do a
pretty good job of describing (at least a better job than I've seen
elsewhere... ;-) Zho interactions with Imperials and trade amongst
the powers in the Marches.
