Agreed, with a caveat: If there's an Imperial accreditation organization,
schools with such Imperial accreditation (which would include the Imperial
service academies) would have to maintain (or exceed) the Imperial standard
to maintain the Imperial Accredited status.

Worse, in many cases, the universities are "voluntarily" taking on the job
that the high schools should have been doing before giving the students
those HS diplomas. I remember in the '90s that when I was doing night
school as a matriculated student, when I switched to Pace University, I was
_required_ to take my choice of one of three remedial English classes, with
no option to test out. They were zero credit but cost the same as a
three-credit class, and were ineligible for Life Experience credit.

It was unremarkable then, and I think it's close to universal now.
