Too many people don't realize that nursing is actually a separate set of
disciplines from 'doctoring'. I would not be at all displeased (quite the
contrary, in fact!) if you were to write a Traveller-centric discussion of
the difference, and a nursing career different from a doctor career!

An interesting idea. Looking at the Mongoose model, perhaps a DM of
+Medical skill (or any medical specialization) for Doctor as a subsequent
career?
