Years ago Yahoo would go thru phases where it would decide that TML was a spam source, esp when a whole bunch of msgs would come at the same time.
For the last few years it's only the occasional msg that winds up in the spam folder.
However, in my experience, this problem is NOT exclusive to TML.
I learned years & years ago, even before I had Yahoo & used the various services my employer supplied, that the spam folder MUST be checked each & every day unless one really doesn't care if something really, really, important winds up in there, cuz' eventually that's exactly what will happen.

Subject: [TML] mailing list glitch

I think I've discovered why I've thought for a week or two now that TML had gone very quiet.  A passing remark from Jeff (thank you) made me realize you were still going strong and the problem must be at my end.

At first I thought perhaps it was some spam filter being a bit hyperactive.  But no sign of TML messages in my spam folder.  (And I must admit that gmail is generally pretty good at sorting the chaff from the wheat.)

I wondered if maybe I had just been unsubscribed by accident and was about to look up resubscribing.

But before I did it occurred to me to look in the Trash folder.  And there you all seem to be.  But I can't work out why.  For years I've had TML messages automatically sorted into a TML folder and bypassing my inbox.  I've set up a rule to do that (and with a couple of other lists) and they seem to have worked fine.  Until now.  In the Trash folder I can see the TML messages labelled as both my TML folder *and* Trash.  But there's no good reason why.  The rule is still correct and is working, but somehow the Trash label is being added.

So firstly my apologies for asking a question or two and then (apparently) ignoring the answers.  Now I can see them I can reply to them - so expect some incoming.  I wasn't ignoring you all - I promise!

Secondly, I'm not sure how to fix it so if anyone has any ideas, they'd be gratefully received.

Thirdly, I've just tried 'restoring' several emails in the first thread I looked at but it would appear that they're immediately being marked as Trash again so it's all a bit frustrating.

Right - I'd better catch up.  It's 4am here but I can't sleep so what better job to do!!
