I have a novel in my collection called 'Random Track' by Austin Ferguson (1979), it's one of those ones I think was intended as the script for an 'All-Star Disaster Movie', anyway the plot climaxes with the landing of a DC-10 on an aircraft carrier named USS Valiant.
