Thank you Jeff.  I'm just back from TravCon (last night) and have been sleeping pretty much all day today so just catching up with it now and not got very far, but looking forward to reading it.

TravCon was it's usual excellence.  Survived the "beast from the east" snow/ice/wind to get there just about.  My quiz seemed to go down much better than I could have hoped although it was rather too 'after hours' for me.  Having a seventh year sabbatical from writin/running an adventure I got to play in four games each of which was a treat in different ways.  Also took the new customizable card game and ran through with a few folk.  The whole genre is new to me but I think it will be fun when playing with people who know what they are doing,  bit slow to learn.

Will do a write up for Freelance but I guess I've got a couple of months.

Cheers!

tc

Active Measure.
The Moot article is also a pretty good intro to how long a noble
bureaucracy would take, and gives me an idea of how many nobles there
should be in a given region (and the 1 per exponent rule gives a
pretty good, if somewhat wonky, guideline).
