A while back I started a project to locate and transcribe non-canon sector material published in fanzines and the like. I had put the project aside when it became a bit of a grind, but the most recent update on Traveller Maps news page has rekindled my interest, especially when it was implied that people might actually be using them. At the moment I'm just going over what I had sent previously and making various tweaks to correct mistakes. But hopefully some more material will be going up in the near future. As it stands here are the sectors that are transcribed and what subsectors (Note, many of these sectors were never completed.)Anniversary: Subsectors A & E, all other subsectors are undetailed.Foreven (Imperium Staple): Subsectors K, L, O & P, names only for subsectors D, H, I, J, M & NFulani (Terra Traveller Times): Subsectors A-H, names only for subsectors I-L, all other subsectors are undetailed.Meshan (North Coast Roleplaying): Subsector M, names only for subsectors I & N, all other subsectors are undetailed.Morning Star: Subsector F, names only for subsectors B, E, G & J (Subsector positions are provisional.)Tagret: Subsectors A-D & E, names only F-PPrecipice: Subsectors A, B, C & E, (C & E are only partially detailed.) all other subsectors are undetailed.I'd like to thank everyone who's helped by supplying me with material, as I have noted several of these sectors will need updating/completing. Tagret was my first attempt at transcribing a sector, I probably bit off more than I could chew and the material itself presents some 'interesting' challenges (For example how to cover a Rosette where all the worlds have separate UWPs in the same hex...), but that's one I hope to resume at some point. Meshan (North Coast Roleplaying) has a misplaced subsector name, some additional systems have been 'recovered' for Foreven (Imperium Staple) and need to be added along with having the borders between stellar nations tweaked as a result. That said, I hope to resume transcription in the next month or so, probably with something simple before working my way back up to a full sector transcription.----- The Traveller Mailing List Archives at http://archives.simplelists.com/tml Report problems to xxxxxx@simplelists.com To unsubscribe from this list please go to http://www.simplelists.com/confirm.php?u= cApOz9iiqi898Eb3etQR6zXwBhUETG nX
