Eh.  Most of the time, replacement parts will be spec'd to have the same "form, fit, and function".  The replacement may have 20% fewer parts, but the box will be the same size.  

Which is not to say it would be impossible to disassemble the box and stow things in it, just that it's not going to be quite that easy.
