Some of the key rules of being a good sex worker.

Always have an "angel." Someone who knows where you are, when the booking starts, when it's supposed to end.

Make sure your client knows this. Knowing they'll be caught if they do anything is the best defence against them doing so. I always make a point of sending a text at the start of a booking and make sure they see me do it.

Maintain a professional detachment. This is an exceptionally intimate and emotionally demanding job, it's hard not to "connect" with a client and they will often reveal incredibly intimate and personal details, things they wouldn't tell their partner or closest friend. They will often build very strong attachments to yoy. If you let yourself get too close, the job will eat you alive.

Never lie or deceive a client. You simply don't know how they're going to react if they catch you out. The job depends on trust from both sides and certainty on what's going to happen. Anything that reduces either is very bad.

Never take a weapon to a booking. You're going to be naked and that weapon will be in your bag. Just as likely your client can get hold of it.

Never let a client know your real identity or carry anything that can identify you.

Be calm and confident. Take charge of events and never let the client dictate what happens.

Don't touch drugs or alcohol. Anything that dulls your senses or reactions is very bad.

Always pay attention to your environment and what your client says. Know your exits and watch for inconsistency.

Keep records of every booking and client. Name, address, phone, what they like and don't like.

There's a lot more, but that's the basics.

Yes, considering that I still need to get Jeff that article on how
stagehands work.
Unfortunately, working as a stagehand has gotten in the way of that.
