Per Classic Traveller Alien Module 4: Zhodani: "... research at its closest approach to the core, 5,000 parsecs from Zhdant." And individual ships may have made it 1000pc further.

Charted Space is about 10,000 parsecs from the center of the galaxy Reference/Core 0140 is at the 10,000 parsec mark.  Zhdant is about 100 parsecs coreward of Reference.

So 50-60%.
