Actually the J3 break point is where I started. Though I suspect there is a economies of scale for truly Bulk freighters with lower performance. Consider then current glut of Container vessels, one of the ways there are capturing more revenue is by slow steaming, like 2/3rds of their rate operational speeds.Note this on specific routes with none time sensitive cargos.
