Something everyone messing about with an arc welder learns at least once. Also you learn that the mask may protect your face well from the arc, but, if you're working outdoors in the desert southwest in the summer it really doesn’t protect the back of your neck in the slightest from that giant arc welder in the sky :-) That hurt for a while!
