I think Killjoys is pretty much the perfect model for a Traveller bounty hunter campaign. At least, it is until the metaplot starts to really take off. After that point, it wouldn't mesh very well with Traveller, unless you're comfortable with bioware that's a LOT more advanced than anything I ever ran.

"The Expanse" may be a bit more relevant to
your players, even though it's all set in the Sol system.

The Expanse is fairly low-tech (about TL 8 in Trav terms), with very realistic gravity effects/restrictions. Most of the characters are assumed to have grown up in about 0.2 Gs. Touching down planetside on Earth is literally torture for them, to the point that liquid-filled life support tanks are necessary for a visit of any length.
