It would be remiss of me not to mention that Mongoose, just yesterday, published just the thing for this: _Referee's Briefing 1: Companies and Corporations_ which has 18 companies
in three chapters (commercial & shipping, industrial & manufacturing, and other firms).

They look like just what you're after although I can appreciate if you're writing story/adventure for publication you might not be able to use them.

Sadly the book doesn't use the Universal Corporate Profile of _Supplement 15: Powers and Principalities_ (or _101 Corporations_ for those who are more old school) which would have been fun, but I'll certainly keep it to hand for off the cuff games.
