Religion in Traveller is something I wondered about, too. I've found tidbits here and there - various planets have their idiosyncratic religions, particularly those with government type D (religious dictatorship). There's actually a surprising amount of material collected on the wiki. It appears that anywhere there are Solomani, you can find Terran religions. The Vilani have their culinary shamanism; I'm unclear on the religious beliefs of the Zhodani - and have next to no info on the more alien races.

Well, a strong counterexample was the BITS "101 Religions" supplement. :) But no, I can't recall that quote, alas.

Hi there,

while I'm rattling everyone's cages...  I could swear I recall a (canon?) Traveller book saying something along the lines of religious content being best avoided in games.  I even *thought* it was something like the classic Traveller Book or similar.  But I can't lay my hands on any such quote.

Is my memory playing tricks on me can anyone recall where that was?  Could be *any* era of Traveller but my little grey cells are saying CT, MT or maybe MgT.
