Traveller doesn't speak much on the topic of automation, but after watching this video, I'm inclined to think that it's inevitable, will have huge economic consequences, and as a result, there will be commensurate social and political ramifications that may take decades to play out. So, for the purpose of putting a little more speculation into Traveller's setting, how do you think various levels of automation are likely to effect the government type?

For example, is it neccesarily the case that the sort of extreme automation as described in the video will result in an extreme concentration of economic power? And if so, would that tend to destabilize democratic/populist forms (http://wiki.travellerrpg.com/Government) or other forms of government?
