Hello Evyn MacDude,

Thank-you for pointing me towards JTAS. In JTAS 14 is an article High Guard: Optional Rules by Stefan Jones pp. 25-27.

While digging through CT Adventure 5 TCS p. 17 the fleet carrier can carry up to 80 ten-ship squadrons.

Another source is from CT Supplement 5 Lightning Class Cruisers p. 5 under General Specifications. The Lighting Class carries 60 fighters (a squadron of ten consists of eight single place and two dual place fighters).
Sixty fighters under CT LBB 5 HG1e rules would have a Code of F and CT LBB 5 HG2e the code is 6.

Thank-you again for kick starting my memory for the sources.

Hello all,

CT LBB 5 HG1 included details accounting for fighters being carried by ships in a Fighter Table in the ships profile. CT LBB 5 HG2 omitted the fighter table. Unfortunately, my review the Consolidated CT Errata did not find any entries. I also checked my copies of Timothy Collinson's Traveller Bibliography 1997-1999 and The Periodical Bibliography 2000 without finding anything.

I am fairly sure that there are at least two sources that mention fighters and how to denote fighter squadrons.

Can anyone please point me to any sources of information?

I believe it was discussed in jTas in the time frame.
