I'm looking for science fiction novels that center on
Ethically Challenged Merchant (ECM) protagonists, preferably
knocking about the galaxy in marginal tramp freighters.
Suggestion?
Anything by A. Bertram Chandler. The focus might not be ECMs, but
they feature often enough in the stories as to be a strong part of
the tapestry. Chandler was an officer on a merchantman and it shows
through in his writing.
