There are apparently two models, armed and unarmed.

It's a $40k recon drone that you can have at the platoon level, that you can use to find that one damn sniper shooting at you from good cover, and croak them, without blowing up the building he's sitting on.

Look at it this way: cheaper than rebuilding/replacing the building the target is sitting in, after an airstrike levels it to croak one person.
