5kg of armor doesn't cover much. Most of those plates get installed with the aid of a forklift or gantry crane.
Although the anti-RPG mesh isn't all that heavy.
Bullet resistant windows are *heavy*. All of them have attachment points for eye bolts so you can use a gantry crane to install/remove them.
I keep thinking they'd be useful in the shop for *something*, but can't think of any real direct application. I'm not certain what I'd do with a 45kg window in a steel frame, so I've been leaving them in the dumpster.
(And I think the range boss would get cranky if I took it to the range to shoot it up, I mean, do some casual penetration testing....)
