Hello Kenneth Barns,

You might want contact Donald McKinney's son, Michael. He just got Donald's Trav site
back on the web until May 1, 2016.  He might be ableto put you into contact with
Marc Miller to give you a yes or no answer on putting your work somewhere.

I think under the fair use policy you can post your material for access by the Traveller
community. I for one would like to see what you have since I like resources to dig through
Not that I'm very good at the process but at least I try.

Tom R

Nope sorry, nothing more than what others mentioned.  The Timeline and my additional notes tend to be filled with little factoids like "323: The IISS candestinely survey Ruie, which is at TL2 / GTL4."

More details - Don's most recent TIT was v2.1 in 2006.  That had incorporated some of the additional data I had sent through to him before that time.  I kept reviewing old and new materials for dates, and by 2013 had an additional 49 pages of Timeline material that was not in TIT v2.1 (which is what I looked through today, assuming someone else would go through TIT v2.1 - thanks TomR!).  Given Don's indication of shifting interests when we emailed in 2013, I have only done a little more (12 pages) since then.

I'd love to take it up again - but given what has happened with the TIT v2.1, I wonder whether I'd be stepping on Marc's toes by releasing the material I've got.

Cheers!

Dear all,

I did an extensive addendum to the Timeline that I forwarded on to Don some years back.  Half of the addendum was incorporated in the TIT as it existed on the website (until it was taken down with a view to publication).  Half of it was sent through in 2013, at which point Don had mentioned moving on to other projects.  (That later submission included a number of corrections/errata for the TIT as it most recently existed.)

I can look through my files, hopefully at some point later today.

Can anyone point me in the direction of tech levels at different periods of the Traveller timeline?

IIRC, the Traveller Integrated Timeline included notation of when the Imperium and it's major rivals reached each tech level. But I'm not sure where you could find a copy of it these days and - even if you do - unless your copy is a searchable PDF, it's hard to find anything specific quickly. At least, it is/was hard for ME, as I kept getting distracted by myriad unrelated yet tantalizing entries . . .
