Oops, I forgot to insert the qualifier "in my opinion", which was from the overview and not the details.

However, in my opinion even if the Japanese had not been handicapped by a lack of resources I do not feel there where enough officers with the insights that Yamamoto had about the west in general the US in particular.

Then again I could be totally out to lunch.
