OK, so Ken Burnside just posted a new stretch goal on the Squadron Strike: Traveller Kickstarter.

It's ... a stress ball. That's also a learning aid/play aid for the game.

The guy has a wacky imagination for play aids, but they do work, let me tell you. (The AVID is a top-down view of a sphere and it's on a little laminated card. You put marks on the card to keep track of which way your ship is facing, along with a few other things. It's that "3D flattened into 2D" that throws some people.)

Here's what it looks like: https://ksr-ugc.imgix.net/assets/005/500/703/d0dc88000048c707c7cd03f2355856ad_original.jpg?v=1457502156&w=680&fit=max&auto=format&q=92&s=59946bbf56d02fadc9d9739d769b2bf9

The thing about these is that production setup costs a fortune (over $4500!), which is why this is such a big stretch goal.
