Tim,

Why don't you offer it for sale in a secure electronic format?

Many thanks to those who've expressed an interest.

While it did occur to me that maybe telephone/skype/whatever bids might be made at the auction on Sunday afternoon, I'm not sure I'd be able to set it up or whether it would go down very well with the small, family feel convention attendees.

They've been very generous - for the charity - with my previous fully worked up adventures with handouts and nicely 'boxed', but international competition might make it a bit out of reach of many.

But never fear, I believe BITS (i.e. Andy Lilly's) intention is to publish it as an ebook (via DriveThru I think), and I keep pressing for that to include a POD version as well.  I've no idea if that will include a hardback version.

I *had* hoped that this formal 3rd edition would be ready for TravCon and just before Christmas that was looking like a possibility.  But I understand Andy's been occupied with getting another project ready for sale at the convention.  The large Angel's Share adventure that's been running for some years in various installments.  (Or at least the first half of it.  I think it may be being split into two.).  Now, while I was a tad disappointed that the bibliography was taking a back seat, I'm also quite excited - having seen a draft on a laptop when I popped briefly into Conception last month - to see the Angel's Share.  It's looking at least as good as previous BITS adventures.

Anyway, that's why I've put together a rather plain 'preview' version and had it bound at a local copyshop.  I've not been working on large scale adventure for the con this year, and it seemed a shame not to take something for the auction.  If it doesn't make the 'reserve', I'll let you guys know, but I wouldn't hold my breath on that.

Thanks again, it makes all the (very) hard and seemingly endless work over the last 3+ years that much more worthwhile to hear that there is actually an interest beyond my sad librarian self!

cheers
