Well this was the second part of the seed I suggested as a generation ship which sank without trace in the thread quite a few posts back! ;-)

Its essentially what half the Generation X adventure Steve Ellis and I ran at TravCon this year.  Only the original wasn't a military ship.

I had some extra stuff we didn't need about a previous Vargr emissary ship that had mis-jumped to where the (large) ship was.  They had struggled on board (to find regressed tech inhabitants), one of the crew had killed an inhabitant and now the emissary, his wife, young pup and another crew member were trying to eek out an existence out of the way while trying to get to a fuel source.  The pup was growing up and had befriended an inhabitant who was thought it was some kind of demon.

The PCs step into the regressed crew and amongst the many other things they are contending with are hearing rumours about this 'demon'.  As it turned out we didn't need to get into this bit of things, but I enjoyed watching a couple of the players puzzle out what was 'really' going on from the cryptic descriptions!

Hey, I can see an adventure seed here;

Officer in the Solomani Navy defending Terra during the SolRimWar & assigned to a Planetary Defense Battery at, you guessed it, Sevastopol in the Crimean Peninsula!

Yes and I thought of another variation that could be interesting but hard to get the players there unless they miss jumped on top of the second ship. So A huge ship with lots of people miss jumps. This ship has the capacity to recycle everything and perhaps has stores of raw materials (cargo/passenger ship?). They have been living in the void for 100s of years and have expanded their population. They have scavenged the ship to build more living quarters and might even have a long time feud between to sides. Players miss jump in but can repair their jump but they must deal with the "locals" first. Let the game begin.

Thoughts?
