Given the standard missile is about the size of 6 or 7 rolls of toilet paper stacked on top of each other and 100 lbs, (Per CT missiles special supplement the standard missile is 15 x100 cm and 50 kg.) a frikken’ bungee cord would practically do the job.

Of course, this begs the question of how a missile half the size of a gorram sidewinder can pack enough chemical energy in it to do up to 6000 seconds of 6g acceleration into a tube only slightly larger than some Estes model rockets….let alone pack enough punch at the other end to go through the average automobile, let alone starship armor.
