Hello again Kurt,

The supplement may not have been generally available, however, with
the publishing of Special Supplement 3, Classic Traveller's rules and
color background changed.
The following my quick history of missiles in Traveller
CT Book 2 pp. 16-17:
Small anti-ship missile, typically a homing type constantly seeking the
target ship, ultimately being destroyed by the target's defenses, or
exploding and doing damage to it. They can be converted to
planetary surface bombs, or surveillance drones. Individual
missiles weigh about 50 kg and cost Cr 5,000 each.
Based on the construction rules, and prior to Special Supplement 3,
my guess has been they have a reactionless thruster, a power source,
a guidance system that locked the target into memory, with a high
explosive armor piercing warhead. Maximum acceleration of 6G.
CT Book 5 HG added the tidbit that the warhead was either HE or
nuclear.
CT Special Supplement 3 arrives and uses reaction thrusters.
CT Striker Book 3 missile design used reaction thrusters.
MT fleshed out CT Book 2 and Book 5 details a bit without
CT Special Supplement 3.
TNE made reactionless thrusters an alternate technology. For
space missiles pushed Electrothermal Augmented Plasma
Combustion which uses a type of solid rocket fuel.
T4 repeated TNE with modifications to fit T4.
T5 I have not yet purchased a copy of rules yet and have no
idea on missiles.
GURPS Traveller, Traveller 20, and Mongoose Traveller fall
back to CT without Special Supplement 3.
My apologies for not including more page references for the
other variants of Traveller. CT is the only one I have handy
and the TNE space missile propulsion system came from
an email discussion I was having recently.
Any errors in the above are all my own.

I never used that supplement because it wasn't generally available for
my players. I do remember that in MT, the missiles were the same.
