Bay missiles being bigger that standard turret launched missiles is, in my opinion,
supported by Special Supplement 3 (SS3) Missiles in Traveller issued in JTAS 21.
the reactionless thrust. Of course SS3 does away with reactionless thrusters
for missiles.

Bay missiles are bigger than turret ones.
Missiles are "cold launched" and kicked out past the hull by compressed
gas before they engage their thrusters.
At higher tech levels everything is reactionless and cold launching
isn't required.

The propellant chemicals are metallic hydrogen and antihydrogen?
Missiles use contragravity thrusters that are set to overload, like a
Star Trek phaser?
IIRC, 6G6 is 18 G-hours of thrust (6G for 6 30 minute turns, right?)
That gets you a terminal velocity of ~635km/sec for boosting all the way
to the target...
