I found online an English translation of an 'unauthorised' comic book adaptation of Star Wars published in China sometime during the 1980s (Since Bobba Fett appears in this it's definitely after 'Empire Strikes Back' came out').

The site I found it on compared the visuals to a Traveller campaign.
