It is disingenious to take words out of context and claim I was at fault for unclear communication.

If your ASSUMPTION is that in the late 22nd century attempts will be made to install HARD WIRES into the brain of a human during in utero, than I would suggest that the faul is indeed mine for assuming too much form those who read my post.

"wired for" normally means "has physical connections and hardware
already installed"

If my car is wired for an ipod, there is cabling and a socket.

If my house is wired for sound, there are cables and speakers installed.
