I have asked you politely if I can continue this discussion off the TML where it should be.
I have not tried to derogatory in a malicious, superior way or sarcastic which you have labeled me as being.
I will ask you again: May I contact you off the TML to discuss the bad impression I have given you?

Because you made a snide and general assertion without support in response to a very detailed and precise argument on the linked page.
Frankly, the analogy of an F-16 maneuvering against a guided with a starship attempting to dodge a laser doesn't make much sense. The relationships of the ranges is vastly different, so much so that the unguided nature of the laser beams (after leaving the firing ship) actually makes a difference. You can also go back to the JTAS article on TNE space combat and lasers for background.
