I seem to recall, my memory is probably wrong, that The Learning Channel or Discovery had something on Tridents that showed a space with four bunks, two stacked on one side and two on the other side of a space a couple of feet wide. Of course the show may have been on another class of ship.
 
When I tried to get Trident duty the Navy figured I was too close to the 20 year mark to be retrained and sent me to a submarine tender heading for the Med.
