Not a problem, work is a priority, unfortunately for me when I lost my job in 2009 I was one of the unlucky ones not to find another one. On the plus side being retired from the USN I’m not in bad shape either or at least I’m better off after paying off some creditors.

I was able to figure out the radar jammer and from Ethan McKinney’s replies there would be no need for the radio jammer.

I’ve done comparison between the EMS and the Area Jammers which I think indicates there are two advantages for selecting an area jammer. The first is antenna size which, if I understand the Area jammer design, is very small and the other that the short range could be greater than 480,000 km.

Once again I have to admit that I’m very light on the combat rules for just about every Traveller version. However, I have played combat simulations that disrupting communications is one aspect of using electronic counter measures.
