Oh, main, I forgot. It's set up for both 2D and 3D. There are going to be 15 ships, and all of them come with both a 2D and a 3D ship sheet. There's also be one variant for each of the ships in 3D.

So if you really don't want to try 3D, you can still play the game.

Squadron Strike isnt that old.

As far as I see and From everything Ken has said it's a retread of Attack Vector: Tactical, with all the slow bits left in. 
 

Have you looked at how Squadron Strike  handles 3D, or are you just making assumptions?

I played it's predecessor and it was VERY SLOW..... Slower than SFB with the full argument, Slower than that game that came out to support Space Battleship Yamato.... 

And it still a game that adds needless complexity to already complex scenarios. Also couple the fact that it doesn't support adventure class ships in it's Traveller incarnation, i.e. the same problem that Power Projection and High Guard had....
