As far as I see and From everything Ken has said it's a retread of Attack Vector: Tactical, with all the slow bits left in.
Have you looked at how Squadron Strike handles 3D, or are you just making assumptions?
I played it's predecessor and it was VERY SLOW..... Slower than SFB with the full argument, Slower than that game that came out to support Space Battleship Yamato....
And it still a game that adds needless complexity to already complex scenarios. Also couple the fact that it doesn't support adventure class ships in it's Traveller incarnation, i.e. the same problem that Power Projection and High Guard had....
