Hmm, isn’t deuterium one of the impurities canonically removed from jump fuel?  This would have implications for refueling from such.

in real life I suspect that deuterium oxide is concentrated in Kupier objects because of it’s very marginally higher heat of vaporization; it will tend to get concentrated as the lighter hydrogen oxide slowly evaporates.
