My vote, being a lazy lout, would be to amalgamate them into one file to reduce my having to look up material in three indices (i.e the 3rd edition index, the addenda and then the additions). Of course I have trouble setting up the search criteria even in the 3rd edition but at least having them in one file I won't have to look in all of them.

Ok, I'll work on merging them this weekend. Although not before I write Jeff a Confession which I think I was aiming for last weekend. Sorry!
The reasons I can think of to keep them separate don't seem powerful enough to override the "less looking up" which I'd wholeheartedly agree with. Probably the strongest reason for separation would be if Andy (BITS) wanted to release the 'addenda/corrigenda' as a free update for those who've bought the bibliography and the 2018/2019 additions as a file for purchase. But I'm quite happy for the entire thing to be a free or PWYW publication if Andy can live with that. (and I *will* press him at TravCon in March to publish it one way or the other or to do it as a March Harrier thing if other life doesn't permit).
As for Tom's search criteria, another ongoing project is proper subject (and planet and ship) indexes for the whole Bibliography. Ongoing is the key because it's quite a project by itself (and fairly tedious). I've made good progress but there's much to do (not heard from someone who sort of offered to help), but I'm hoping that those indices will really help out on your searches for information and make the Bibliography a thing of beauty! (See the keyword index in Minibib1 to see what it will look like. Across *all* of Traveller's books!)
cheers
