In that case what I'll probably do with this transcription is change those two allegiances to 'Na' and make a note of the change in the xml when I submit it to Joshua. At least this transcription is going smoothly, some of the larger/older ones have tended to drag on.

I am currently transcribing the sample subsector ('Unknown') provided with Travis McCord's sub2ps mapping software for use with the Traveller Map and I've hit a snag, two of the systems have the allegiance code 'Bg' (or BG/bG), but nothing in the documentation I've been able to find identifies what that code stands for. Does anyone out there know what that allegiance code meant?

I always figured it was a made-up one for the purposes of the sample. It does not appear in the GENIE data set, which, afaik, is the oldest compilation around.
