I just want to see the Segway wheelchair that the inventor developed originally! The ability to go upstairs in a wheelchair was just awesome. I think it had a lift function as well oh, so that you could raise up to standing level to talk to people or see me in a crowd.

Time for rules expansion!

Oh, did you see the new listing exoskeleton that has feedback sensors on the arms and legs and sort of claws for lifting? Looks very straightforward to use, although it obviously needs more development. There is steady progress on this.

I'm still unsure about the military applications of this technology. Power requirements one thing, ground pressure is another. If you followed some of the discussions on SF-consim mailing list, you've seeing the problems that armored power suits have sinking into the mud, falling through floors, and so forth

The Daud Enterprises Mobility Exoskeleton is a harness that connects behind a person’s legs, waist, and back, with straps tightly holding the exoskeleton onto the person. It’s designed to bring normal movement (walking and running) back to those people who have lost mobility in their legs.

While it is possible for the exoskeleton to reach the listed speeds, it is restricted as standard to normal walking and running speeds.
