That does remind me though, is it possible to make a poster of something that is not a sector?  e.g. a subsector or a user defined area such as, in this case, subsectors N and O of Spinward Marches and B and C of Trojan Reach?  I’ve had a quick look on TravellerMap and can’t see a way of doing it as the ‘Poster’ button only appears with a search for a sector as far as I can see.

Not with user-supplied data. The map can generate images for any rectangle using the API, but not via the poster maker.

Easiest would be to treat the two sectors separately and stitch the images together. Alternately, merge them into a single sector (modifying the hex numbers) and use the "subsector hex numbering" option.
