Ah! Real life. I see what you mean.
Not sure a 6.5 hour wait in a small windowless room sitting with two older men going for prostate surgery (and thus seeing a possible future writ large before me) would make a terribly exciting adventure. But I'll let it stew and see what comes out.
Meanwhile, now back in the world of WiFi after a week (only interrupted for 23 hours in the end by 300 miles and surgery) in a yurt on an island by a private lake. Also not the stuff of adventure but don't think I've ever been more chilled and relaxed by a holiday ever.
Also managed a thousand words a day of my attempt to novelize the Traveller Adventure so that was good (and relevant here). Now well over 100,000 words and most of the way through Wolf at the Door chapter. This isn't going to be a quick read...
