Hey All,

I'm currently fiddling with an Alternate Traveller Universe setting, based partly on my various ramblings here and on the Traveller Facebook group and partly on some Fading Suns supplements, plus a fascinating book on the "real" supernatural. This setting is not going to be all that close to Traveller canon, will use the new Adventure Edition Savage Worlds rules set [for everything except starship economics and construction] and is aimed at players who've never played any version of Traveller. Therefore, I thought it would be a good idea to avoid the name "Traveller" entirely in its title.

I've been pondering for some while on a good replacement title. I've tentatively settled on "Savage Sojourner." Since "sojourn" means "to stay for a time in a place; live temporarily" and "sojourners" synonyms include "settler," "crusader," "pioneer," and "wanderer" I think this covers most of the likely campaign themes. As a bonus, it alliterates nicely with "Savage." :)
