If you have both beam laser turrets and pulse laser turrets installed they both could fire on the same target or different targets in the same combat turn if the direction where modified to allow both types of laser weaponry.

If a turret could mount a beam laser and a pulse laser then I can see the one could be aiming at a ship and the other on a missile salvo that are on the same bearing.
