You know, there must be any number of orgs/individuals legit or otherwise that have found it desirable to be able to send msgs, or even zip around themselves, at J6.

If you had one you could use it as a personal courier, sending it off to deliver msgs & then return with the answer.

It'd also really come in handy for long-haul  journeys, inspections & such.

Now we already have the iconic IN J6 FC, so who's going to submit a CT HG design for a J6 Yacht?

Yes, the worst-kept secret in Traveller, the Imperiallines J-6 couriers.

 

They date back to The Travellers' Digest #04 (1986), “The Gold of Zurrian” scenario and its associated Library Data. So definitely CT in origin, predating MT by a year. I believe they also appear in later MT publications by GDW, so have become canon.

 

As for propagation of assassination news, there’s a map of that on p 14 of the MT Rebellion Sourcebook.
