So why did ex-GDW staff admit that they made a terrible mistake when
they published their second Gulf War fact book, which went through the
normal book trade, and thus cost them massive amounts of money when it
sold badly and all the stock got returned?

Also, you just called those working at GDW in the early-mid 90s liars.
